Ready to file your taxes?

The IRS will be accepting returns beginning January 23rd, 2017. This year the deadline is April 18, 2017.

The IRS expects over 150 million returns over the next few months, so don’t wait till the last minute. Here are a few tips to help make filing yours a breeze.

  • Gather your paperwork. All that mail coming in with “IMPORTANT TAX DOCUMENT” stamped on the outside of the envelope needs to be set aside. Forms such as W2s, 1099s, Social Security and Investment Year End Statements, Tuition and Daycare Statements. We also have some great worksheets that will help with some of the tricky pieces.
  • Next Step- get your pile of important papers over to us.  You can drop it off, mail it, fax it or upload it via our website. Email is okay, but not as safe as using our secure site. If this is your first time uploading, let us know and we will set you up with login credentials.
  • Schedule an appointment  Once you have given us your paperwork, use our online scheduling tool to book your appointment. If you prefer to have us call you to review over the phone, you can skip this step.
  • Make plans for your refund! This can help ease some of the stress. Will you save it, invest it, pay some bills, or buy yourself something pretty? Post your answer on our  Facebook  page!

Still not sure where to start? Shoot us an email or give us a call at 603-432-8291 to let us know how we can help you.
